Priya is a professional hair stylist and makeup artist in Milton Keynes.  She is fully insured and and a member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists.

Priya is an Asian Bridal specialist although she is fully proficient in a multitude of world styles, She was recently the lead skincare consultant and Makeup Artist for the National Miss African Spirit pageant held in Milton Keynes.

Priya also works freelance regularly for large companies as a Hair and Makeup Artist and as a representative at some of their publicity events.

Priya’s last notable excursion was the Central Milton Keynes Wedding Exhibition at which She provided hair styling and makeup artistry for the catwalk models.

She has a strict work ethos which encompasses meeting the needs of her clients at all times, as well as making their experience a happy and fun occasion.

For Priya it’s not just about perfecting the hair or makeup, it’s about helping you on your individual journey to your inner beauty during the time she is with you.

What areas do you cover?

Generally Priya covers Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, and North London. However she can travel to other areas.  Travel costs are calculated at a rate of 45p per mile for a return journey to your location from Milton Keynes.

Why do you charge mileage?

By charging mileage on each job individually we can keep the base costs down for our customers, It means you will always get a fair price.

Are you experienced in the style I wish to create?

Looking gorgeous is likely to be your main concern. Hiring a skilled and talented hair and make-up artist will put your worries to rest. No two artists are the same, so it is imperative to find an artist with experience of the type of look you wish to create.  Priya has vast experience from fashion photography make-up, catwalk make-up, through to wedding make-up for clientèle diverse both in style and culture. What products do you use?

Priya uses premium brand products such as MAC, Laura Mercier, Nars, Bobbi Brown, GHD, Clarins, and Dior to name a few.   However the secret to flawless make-up starts with good skincare, and the secret to a stunning hair style starts with the correct conditioning and caring hair routine.  When it comes to creating the perfect Wedding makeup or hairstyle Priya recommends a Hair or skincare consultation to ensure that the right routine is well established at least 1-3 months before the wedding.

How do I book my wedding date with you?

A 50% non-refundable deposit will be payable by cash or cheque. This 50% is deducted from your final invoice which is payable by cheque two weeks before your wedding or by cash on the day of your wedding.

How long will a Wedding package take on the day?

Priya will work out in advance how long it will take you get you ready based on what you have chosen i.e. hair and make-up or make-up only. For your hair and make-up it will be approx 2-3 hours.  Consideration will be given for the times needed for other members of the wedding party (if you have booked hair and make-up services for them).  Priya will arrive early enough to ensure you are all ready at the specified time. It is recommended that the bride looks as fresh faced as possible. To achieve this she will be the last member of the party to be made up.  The hair will generally be done first followed by the make-up.
